Intel delays 10-nm process, third 14-nm CPU to follow Skylake

During the investor conference call for Intel's Q2 financial report, CEO Brian Krzanich confirmed recent rumors that the chipmaker's 10-nm manufacturing process has been delayed. ZDNet has a partial transcript in which Krzanich lauds Moore's Law while stating that Intel's recent node transitions have "signaled that our cadence today is closer to two-and-a-half years than two."
