GoPro's CEO Is Highest Paid Executive In America

The CEO of GoPro is now the highest paid executive in the United States. The 39-year-old was granted 4.5 million restricted stock units that were valued at $284.5 million at the end of 2014, which would give him the No. 1 spot on the Bloomberg Pay Index, the first daily ranking of the highest-paid U.S. executives. He received the grant in June 2014, three weeks before the San Mateo, California-based company first sold shares to the public, according to its prospectus in November.
