ATI Radeon XPRESS 200 Launch

@ 2005/03/12
As you can read in this press release, ATI kicked off their RADEON XPRESS 200 motherboard chipset for the Intel platform this morning at CeBIT. We have attached here, their slide show that accompanies the introduction of the chipset. One of the highlights of this chipset is the support for DDR2 memory officially at 667MHz. And while this launch officially focuses on Intel and socket 775 suport, you can see here where this chipset has already been launched on the AMD side of the product line. This would make this the second AMD chipset we have seen that supports PCI-Express, if we include VIA's K8T890.
