Will.i.am's Puls looks like a bracelet, is smarter than a watch

Move over, smartwatches. Black Eyed Peas member and Intel "director of creative innovation" Will.i.am has introduced a smart... cuff. The bracelet-like device is called the Puls—pronounced "pulse," according to The Next Web—and it's set to be available this year.

Unlike typical smartwatches, the Puls is a completely standalone device.
