20 WiFi access points review @ Hardware.Info

@ 2014/02/23
There is a lot of choice when it comes to access points. Which one is best depends on what you need it for and what type of router you have. In terms of raw performance, the Trendnet TEW-690AP is second to none, and therefore gets the Gold Award. Admittedly, it can't be wall-mounted, and it also doesn't support 5 GHz, but we are not too bothered by that, especially not given the fact that the dual band models in this test are selectable dual band, not concurrent, which makes it a lot less useful.
