@ 2013/09/04The FlexScan EV2216W is the latest addition to EIZO's EcoView series of monitors which combines ecological features, visual ergonomics and a five-year warranty for a low total cost of ownership. The FlexScan EV2216W is the first EcoView monitor with a 22-inch screen and 1680 x 1050 native resolution (16:10 aspect ratio).
The brightness dimming methods used with conventional LED-backlit monitors cause some users to see flicker which can result in eye fatigue. The FlexScan EV2216W incorporates an EIZO-developed solution that regulates brightness to make flicker unperceivable without compromising color stability. Even at just 1% of the maximum brightness the monitor remains flicker-free.
