Dothan Revisted : Focusing On Gaming Performance

@ 2004/12/08
Earlier this week, we inflamed a mini-firestorm with our first report of the "Dothan" Pentium-M processor on the desktop. This report was the first real introduction to the Pentium-M architecture for many, as this CPU line typically flies under the radar of most consumers while Intel’s own Pentium 4 and AMD’s Athlon64 processor lines get all the attention. We've watched various forums fly with discussion for and against the Pentium-M chip as a viable desktop processor, and many of you out there have raised some very good points. Some think it's the greatest thing Intel has done in the past five years, others discount it completely.
