Leaked specs, photos reveal 8'' Acer Windows 8 tablet

Last week, Microsoft CFO Peter Klein confirmed the impending arrival of mini Windows tablets. Few specifics have been made public, but thanks to French site MiniMachines.net, we now have some idea of what to expect. Earlier today, the site posted a boatload of photos of an upcoming 8" Windows tablet from Acer—and some specs, too. The article seems to have been taken down, but it's still available here in Bing's cache.

According to the cached page, this 8" tablet will be known as the Acer Iconia W3, and it will feature an Atom Z2760 processor, 2GB of RAM, dual cameras, and an optional foldable sleeve that can prop up the machine in landscape mode. Acer ...
