If you were hoping for the PS4 to launch this year, statements like this aren't very encouraging. You would think that, if Sony does actually have plans for a holiday launch, hardware specs would have been hammered out a long time ago. Mr. Hirai hinted that Sony would wait for the likes of Microsoft and Nintendo to make the first move.
