Cd roms autoplay and autorefresh

ENGLISH VERSION
-----------------------

I had Win XPand had some probs with my dvd (Pioneer) and writer (Teac) in win. Everytime I inserted a disk that normally should autoplay (dvd or install disk), it won't autoplay. My settings were correct.
Because I didn't found any sollution, i did a format and i installed win2k. After a week i have the same prob. No Disc will autoplay. And when i Eject the cd, the name stays. Even when I insert a new disk,
the name of the old one stays . Only when i refresh manually is the old name gone.

searched on the web and found some solutions:

*key "AutoPlay" in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Cdrom ---> value 1
----> doesn't work

*NoDriveTypeAutoRun --> value is 0x95 , so that is the standard enabled value

*http://support.microsoft.com/default...;en-us;Q155217
---> all the settings are the same as noted on the support page

Can someone help me or is it a prob with HW

NEDERLANDSE VERSIE
----------------------------

*een key dat Autoplay noemt bijmaken in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Cdrom
-> deed niets

* NoDriveTypeAutoRun ---> waarde is 95 dus dit is de standaard enable methode

*http://support.microsoft.com/default...;en-us;Q155217
--> settings stonden al het zelfde

try going in your device manager and deleting the IDE controller that is used for the CDROM

after reboot it will be redetected

thx

the prob was already solved by booting only with my DVD, then booting only with cd writer.
Then with both, and it worked again
