Test on AMD System by A-Star

AMD Test System:

The tests were done using the following system:
  • ECS K7S6A motherboard
  • AMD Athlon XP 1800+
  • 512Mb Corsair DDRAM
  • Lian-li case PC-60 with front fans on turbo,
  • Antec tri-light fan used as rear fan
  • Enermax 350 watt power supply with fans on highest setting

I tested the Hydrocool system against a Thermalright SLK-800 heatsink with a Papst NGML fan on it.

Every test was run for 30 minutes. Case temperature was 26° Celsius (no Fahrenheit here).
Full load was reached by using Folding @ Home and the Stress CPU program.

While idling there is a difference between the high and low settings of the Hydrocool unit.

At full load there is no difference at all between the two Hydrocool temps. Air cool temperatures are way higher.

Even the highest temperatures of the Hydrocool unit are not even reaching the lowest temperatures of the SLK-800 Heatsink.
