Introduction:

Until some time ago, water cooling was more something for the do it yourselfers.

Some companies wanted to bring water cooling to the masses (koolance,...)

Today we are reviewing an all-in-one solution from Corsair.

Corsair is well known for their high performance memory. Today they are introducing their first water cooling unit.

Thanks to Corsair we have 2 units we can review.

We'll test this puppy on a P4 and XP system comparing them to air cooling, another all-in-one kit and a custom water cooling setup.

But let us first begin with some specifications:

  • Extracts up to 200W of heat from a PC CPU
  • Extremely low noise
  • Included CPU water block fits both P4 and K7
  • High efficiency water block and heat exchanger gives RSA rating of 0.13
  • Rugged high reliability 12V in line pump
  • Visual flow meter confirms water flow
  • Non - drip quick connect hoses allow system to be easily separated from PC with no leaks
  • Real time temperature display in both
  • Centigrade and Fahrenheit
  • Programmable alarms and emergency shut down
