Outside Look ContinuedThe I/O panel on the Coolermaster CM 690 is quite feature rich for a budget minded enclosure, we are not too surprised to find one or two USB connections on most cases, audio in/out is also quite common. Firewire is not installed on all products in this price range so it’s certainly nice to see one here, but what really “takes the cake” is the eSATA connection sitting there right on top, this is a feature that even the more expensive
Stacker 830 has not!
The bottom of the case is quite interesting too, in the photo below you can see two cut-out grills, one in the middle for 80/92/120/140mm fan, and one in the rear of the power supply unit.
To allow fresh air to be pulled in from the bottom, the case is lifted of the ground by uses of these hard (but not too hard) rubber feet:
The power/HDD led is situated at the right side corner of the case, as well as the power and reset button:
