Canon EOS 400D Rebel XTi DSLR Camera Review

Others/Miscelleneous by SidneyWong @ 2007-08-16

Canon Rebel series Digital SLR camera carries the old tradition for the enthusiasts. This 2007 Rebel model XTi priced at around $800 makes it easy for the novice and the more demanding users may find it adequate in most of everything they ask for at below $1,000 price range.

Although I prefer the use of SD instead of CF memory such as in the Nikon series, it could be my nit-picking because of the more popular SD card and lower price.

Most DSLR cameras follow the 35mm film cameras using top mounted LCD panel for all setting displays. Canon Rebel XTi moved these setting displays to the 2.5" LCD instead. I like it because it is easier for the eyes. Let's take a look at some of the settings and some of the specifications. Before we start, I like to point out that this camera belongs to my daughter who is willing to share the experience with our readers. With her two days stop over, we did not have enough time to do a complete review. So, I collected what I could, hopefully it will provide some vital information.

Good for you more than $200 less than Nikon D40x, not much difference in overall performance.
