Installation - Consus T-SeriesSATA and IDE interface; either SATA or IDE hard-drive can be used.
Remove the four screws holding the semi-clear plastic stand.
This screw here holds the hard-drive mounting tray.
Slide the casing out.
Use the IDE cable if you are installing an IDE hard-drive, for SATA use the SATA cable provided together with the power cable. Otherwise, use the 4-pin molex here for IDE Drive.
A note of caution, when "removing" the IDE cables it is better to pull out the side from the PC board first. Otherwise, the manual does a good job in illustrating the installation steps.
I was able to use a regular IDE cable (trimmed out the excess) to continue on the review, while the replacement cable was being mailed to me.
Secure the hard-drive with four screws provided.
Plug in the power cord; USB cable from the back of the enclosure to your PC USB port; if nothing else happens, you should see the blue LED light fires up.
