FSP launches their latest passive cooled power supply, rated at 400W and equipped with the latest connectors for high(er) end hardware can it provide stability under heavy load? We test this unit to the extreme with two overclocked NVIDIA G80 cards and overclocked Core 2 Duo. Find out how the ZEN400 did.

Inside Look

Heatsinks and Thermal Grease

The ZEN400 features no fans, this means heat must be removed through conduction, the housing of the unit at the sides features ventilation holes, the top is one large heatsink and is attached to smaller heatsinks inside:

We might be staring at the internals all day long, but it won’t tell us exactly how cool it will run, and if it can actually deliver its rated power. Time to hook it up ->
