Size Comparison & Outside Look

Size comparison

We have updated our size comparison chart with the new CM Cosmos, the clickable thumbnails below give you an idea of big this case really is:

Height wise almost no other case comes close, not even Coolermaster’s own Stacker 830 EVO. The Gigabyte Mercury Pro (with build in water cooling) is able to surpass the Cosmos in height, but in width the Cosmos is truly the largest of all.

The large depth of the case allows for enough room to fit the largest of video cards, the Stacker 830 is the only case longer than the Cosmos. With this new tower from Coolermaster you won’t run out of space! But you’ll have to make room for it in your office.

Outside Look

One of the most remarkable external design choices are without doubt the four handle bars, they are present at the top, but also the bottom has 2, lifting the case of the floor. There is only one color scheme available for the Cosmos, a brushed aluminum look for the side panels and reflective black paint coat from front to back over the middle:

The front door has a very reflective black finishing which surprisingly doesn’t take up thumbprints easily:

The door can be installed on either side of the front panel, so you can let it flip open in the direction best suited for you. Once open the black grill is revealed which covers all the drive bays and bottom HDD bay area:

The door fits the case very well, maybe a bit too well as there is hardly any space left between the 5.25” bays and the door. Fan controllers or other 5.25” devices (Creative Platinum series bays) will have to be installed a bit differently in order to make it fit as the door will otherwise be unable to close properly.

Let’s continue our tour of the Cosmos on the next page ->
