Rantopad P3 & P4

Rantopad P3 & P4
Provided by: Digital Century

  • Rantopad P3 ( 275 x 225mm – Hard - packaging)

    The P3 from Rantopad has a special feature, it can be used on both sides! One side is quite smooth with low profile texture, the other side is rough with more texture. To provide soft anti-slip contact with your desk Rantopad includes a separate rubber layer. The smooth side:

    The P3 is quite thin, only ~2mm, with the extra anti-slip layer that makes it ~3mm. Here’s a photo of the rough side:

    The rough side provided me with better accuracy and worked best for browsing the web, gaming on the other hand was better on the smooth surface where also photoshop became easier. Overall the P3 is an impressive product, it also comes with a set of mouse-feet to increase gliding performance.

  • Rantopad P4 ( 300 x 250mm – Hard - packaging)

    The hard version of the C1 Super consists of 3 layers, hard on top for great accuracy, a rubber anti-slip at the bottom, and a soft layer in between;

    Of all the Rantopad products tested, the P4 stood out, it’s sufficiently large, without exaggeration, only ~3mm thick, and performance no matter what the activity was impressive.

    Still using my everglide here.
    No need to replace it.

    It is missing the Icemat, which is the best mousepad because it never wears out, transfers excess heat away from the hand, slides well and looks and feels great. And glass is SEXY.

    I completely agree with you. I used Everglide but they wear out quickly.

    Icemat is the best. I would recommend only to use mousemats that are made of steel or glass. They're durable and easy to clean.
