Lara Croft and her gaming adventures don’t need much introduction. Tomb Raider Legend is the latest episode where you guide Lara through a variety of locations and fight enemies all rendered by a totally new 3D engine. Polygon count, dynamic effects and animations have been set to a totally new level and with the help of AA and AF this game puts quite some stress on the latest VGA card we have available.

The 8800GTX shows no mercy from the very beginning: double 7900GTX performance! While in some cases that gap can fall back to only a few FPS, the average frame rate remains high enough to produce more fluent gameplay. In fact, while the game had lots of frame drops with the Geforce 7, we didn't have any problem with our Geforce 8 card.
