Need For Speed Carbon is too heavy for our 7900GTX. When this game came out back in 2006 I was surprised to see that my Geforce 7 didn't have enough power to make this game enjoyable at 1600x1200. Now that we have Geforce 8800GTX cards it's no problem to run this game at the highest resolution our monitor has to offer, combined with the best image quality we've seen so far. An overclocked GTX will help you here and there to smooth out the frame rate a bit more, though even at stock speed we didn't have any problems.
