From the outside

Quick look from outside:

The top panel hides the I/O panel with audio, 2x USB and firewire:

As you will see in the pictures the TJ09 consists of aluminum plates, the outside once are brushed, with the front panel being thickest and having excellent finishing.

Both side panels feature grill and opening in the front, the left one can be ordered with a side panel installed.

Installation of the side panels goes through a set of 3 thumbscrews, although only 1 is really needed to secure them in place.

Turning the case upside down reveals two grills in the bottom, one at the front for the drive bays:

The other one is located at the back for the PSU area, you can install the power supply both ways, either have it remove hot air from the case and expel at the back, or install the unit to take fresh air from the bottom of the case. If you have PSU which ramps up its fan speed when temperatures increase, installing it to take fresh “outside” air can prevent this, and keep the PSU cool.

In the photos above you see the 4 large feet which come soft rubber at the bottom and help prevent vibration to reach the floor/desk.
