I hadn’t attempted this modification before but really wanted to give it a try, what I needed: a mirror, a fancy drawing (printed with laser printer), a Dremel and a synthetic (or cellulose) based thinner.

I started off with this print-out

Using the thinner I transferred the image from the paper:

To the mirror:

Then it was time to power up the Dremel to finish the job:

The mirror will find a place at the bottom of the case, illuminated by two 10cm blue CCFLs which are under it.
