Looking for winners!

Madshrimps proudly announces, in cooperation with Scythe, a give-away of five Scythe Mine AMD/Intel CPU Coolers. The Scythe Mine is a compact, high performance and low noise heatsink compatible with the latest platforms from AMD (S754/939 and AM2) and Intel (S478/775).

In our latest group test the Mine heatsink was high up in the ranking, on par with larger and heavier heatsinks, although it features a smaller fan (100mm) the Mine was ready for the challenge. Its plug and play installation and flexible fan mounting options (anything from 80mm to 120mm) make it a very versatile product and worthy of being in any system, be it low or high end.

In order for you, the reader, to make a chance of owning one you only need to send us an email with your name, address and what system you currently have. Before you send of that mail though, there are a few minimum conditions you need to meet:

  • Live in Belgium (we’re going to deliver the price personally at your doorstep)
  • Currently using stock/default AMD or Intel CPU cooler (we want you to notice the difference!)
  • Have a bit of spare time for some on-camera action of the installation with basic performance test. (It’s going to be a video-shoot!)

So if you live in Belgium, using a stock Intel/AMD cooler on any of the supported systems (AMD S754/939/AM2 or Intel S478/775) and don’t mind to be featured in some cool show-off video clip, mail us now! The winners will be picked randomly – the Scythe Mine cooler and special Japanese extra will be delivered by the MAD Man early next year.

it's true. I guess finally Belguin people got something cool and that's not chocolate
    Comment from Rutar @ 2006/12/22
Since you have such good connections with Scythe, could you aks them if they have thought about supplying more mounting clips for the Ninia and Infinity so dual 120 setups would be possible?

it could be decicive vs Thermalrights new cooler that takes 2 120mm fans in a XP-120 like setup
