"Yum Cha" means. It is a daily affair eating and dinning with friends talking/dealing business at the same time; or B/S'ing. "Yum Cha" brand is anything but good merchandizes. The market was filled with "Yum Cha" brand power supplies only a few years ago has all disappeared. You may still find $15, 500 watts power supplies at eBay that weights less than two pounds. Today, PSUs are more reliable because consumers are better educated, yet they cost a lot more.
Manufacturer such as Seasonic has come a long way. What Seasonic has done in the last couple of years by focusing on the needs of customer in providing reliable, low noise and high efficiency products proved to be key to its success. Your new Core 2 Duo, X2 or inbound AMD 4x4 in conjunction with high end video card can only be run with a capable power supply. It is hard to justify a $180 power supply for some because our value system is different. I can't see to open my wallet for a pair of $500 memory sticks, for example.
Yes, the M-12 600 will cost you around US$175 at
Newegg at time of this writing, and it may well worth every penny if you are going for high end graphic card, SLI setup, 3 to 5 HDDS, plus overclocking. The rock solid voltage lines, high efficiency and low noise Smart Fan control; modular and sleeved cables on top of Seasonic's established product reliability, you can't go wrong. Or, go for the S-12 500 for around $110.
