So what do you do a warm pre-summer day in June? Get out the dry ice of course. I already had a modified phase change cooling but was interested to see what a few blocks of ice could accomplish.

Phase Change Cooling

After a pretty encouraging result with *only* water cooling I hooked up a modified Prometeia

After a bit of tweaking the CPU was running stable at 3518Mhz:

Unfortunately the fun didn’t last as the system started to behave rather strange (random lock-ups), turned out condensation was the problem:

Luckily just letting the components dry was enough to get the system working properly again *phew*.

Not deterred by this near fatal accident I brought out cool stuff:
