These are good times for hardware enthusiasts, ATI is pushing their R520 based products at interesting price points, the X1800GTO is very similar to its more expensive brother, the X1800XL. Both are manufactured at 90nm, have the GPU running at 500Mhz and memory at 1Ghz, the only difference between the two is the amount of pipelines, the GTO has only 12, compared the 16 available on the XL.

MSI releases new products based on both ATI and nVidia hardware, today we take a closer look at their incarnation of the GTO, RX1800GTO-VT2D
