Final thoughtsThis article is coming to an end, time to take an overview and my position of the tested coolers....
Coolermaster Hyper 6+This very big and heavy cooler is a real beast. Combined with very decent look, it's a very good cooler to keep your cpu cool and quiet. All is realised with the help of six heatpipes. It is not only heavy but also very big, and that might cause some issues installing it in smaller cases.
PRO
Stylish looks
Decent performance
For almost every socket
CON
Rare fan size
Heavy
Speeze EE782B3 CopperReefOne of the smallest contestants of the day. The installation takes in a matter of seconds. The spider fan gives a nice touch to it. Too bad the performance is not optimal.
PRO
Stylish looks
Easy and fast installation
CON
Poorer performance
Scythe KatanaThis cooler keeps your cpu cool and quiet at the same time with just two heatpipes. Certianly a very important aspect to this cooler is the weight, it's ~1/3 th of the Hyper 6+.... So far so good, until you want to install it. Those tiny little screws takes me longer to figure out and make me nervous.
PRO
Lightweight
Decent performance
For almost every socket
CON
Complicated installation
Asetek VapoChill Micro SeriesThe last cooler for today is the Vapochill Micro. In a previous review I showed you the silent power. Today I was able to test the more powerful versions, and I was amazed. This little cooler performed the best !
PRO
Lightweight
Excellent performance
For almost every socket
CON
Fan duct allows vibration noises, and push pins are cumbersome to use with it
I’d like to thank the following for sending us the test samples:
