20kg of dry ice pellets, size is 2cm on 1cm
Temperature of dry ice, this is only in fast form. Dry ice sublimate at -78.5°
And here’s the DI in action:
Bit by bit temperatures are beginning to drop and just waiting for the sweet spot to go and boot the system:
And I’ve reached the lowest temperature, -62.8° base temperature and -75.9 dry ice temperatures.
The container is filled up to the maximum, it’s time…
First goal is to obtain the fastest SuperPi 1Mb time, the temperatures are steady at -60°C idle and -59°C under load, after a few hours something interesting happened, but I’ll tell you more about in a bit, just remember the temperature of the base under load/idle.
The sweet spot of the CPU was found after only a couple of minutes, the Dothan 1.6Ghz tops out at 3160Mhz, which is extremely close to a 100% OC!
Now let’s add some graphical power and see where this system can take us ->
