Introduction:

Arctic Cooling has a line of low cost coolers covering S478 and S462. Previously we looked into the 4Pro L, and today we will examine the 2L for AXP. Equipped only with a copper inserted base and aluminum fins and body and a retail price of about $20, I did not think this cooler would be able to get close to any Thermalright products. Distributed by Scythe-USA, Arctic Cooling has penetrated into major reseller chains in rapid speed. The label claims the ability to cool an AMD Athlon XP up to 3400+ at 2,800 rpm and a measly 1,500 rpm to handle 2500+, let’s find out what it could deliver.
