Xice ExternalCool EC900 Water Cooling Kit

If you like to hear yourself think when sitting next to your PC, then Xice has a solution for you; the EC900 is a completely passive water cooling kit. Today the Madshrimps install this kit into a small barebone system to see how it will cool down a 2.4ghz P4 system!

What's in the black box?

Simply put: it's a large tower containing 10m of tubing, a pump, a reservoir and some LEDs.

You can see on the pictures that the pump is in the middle with the reservoir on the left. On both sides you have a bright blue led and one gives a blue shine in the reservoir for filing purpose only as the reservoir is completely black.

There are anti-noise pads stuck at the feet of the unit preventing vibration generated by the pump from creating any unwanted noise. The pump is very silent when the XICE unit is closed up!
