TTIC NPH-101 and NPH-1 Intel HSF Review

Cooling/CPU Cooling by jmke @ 2004-05-05

TTIC pulled 2 impressive rabbits out of their hat giving us end-users a HSF solution which will please those looking for extremely silence, or extreme performance, and to top it of they are very competitively priced!

Conclusion

We are impressed; TTIC has delivered two awesome products, although it’s apparent from the test results that the copper in the NPH-101 did not outdo the aluminium version, both scored exactly the same, and even when using very low CFM fans the performance was still impressive!

Looking through various online stores we spotted these heatsinks for $40 and less which is quite a bargain.

PRO
priced at ~$40
impressive performance

CON
only 70mm fans can be used
could give problems on motherboard with high (+25mm) components around the socket area.
the copper NPH-101 version offers no improvement over the Aluminium one

We would like to thank Gary from TTIC for giving us the possibility to test these fine products
