  • Installation
    I think I’m starting to nag now. Surprise surprise, you can also install this cooler with clips… :-)
    But, as this is a cooler for both AMD Socket A as Intel Socket 478, the Intel clip method won’t work on the AMD, duh !
    So they created a system with screws. First you need to install the back plate on the motherboard, and then screw the heatsink to it. The last method can be used for both AMD as Intel.

  • Fins
    This heatsink is actually an improved SLK900-U. The design is similar to the other recent SLK sinks. A lot of soldered copper fins to a copper base…
