has been in the CPU cooling business for quite some time now, they provide solid solutions for AMD and Intel. They send us 2 of their Socket A coolers for review.
These heatsinks are aimed at replacing the standard AMD cooler to provide better performance at lower noise levels with your system running at stock speeds.Evercool MAG-01:
This heatsink is a combo of aluminium and copper, it provides mounting material provided for Socket 478,A,370,754! Sporting a flashy colour:
And a copper insert at the bottom
The fins on the heatsink dissipate the heat easily with the included 70mm fan which pushes air through them
Included 70mm fan stats:
* Ball bearing
* 3500 RPM +/-10%
* <30 dba
* 27.96 CFM at 3500 RPM
With the help of a small flat screwdriver installation took only 2 minutes, quick and easy!Evercool CUF-715CA:
The other heatsink Evercool send us is made out of copper and sports the same fan as the MAG-01. This fan has been painted gold and sure makes this heatsink a looker
the bottom is sufficiently lapped:
a series of small copper fins leave enough room for cool air to pass through them:
As you can see on the photo below, the fins are mounted onto the base instead of being skived out of a copper block as seen with the Coolermaster X-Dream SE
This heatsink can be mounted on any Socket A/370 motherboard with the help of a small screwdriver, as with the MAG-01 installation was quick and easy.
