To test the power supply in both IDLE and Full Load, I have used the OCCT 3.1.0
application, with its Power Supply stress test suite
; before testing each power supply, I let the computer function in IDLE for about 30 minutes.
To measure the wattage drawn from the wall socket, I have used a Kill-a-Watt-like (Wattmeter) device:Test resultsTotal power consumedVoltagesWatts when computer OFF (PSU ON switch position)
The power drawn when the computer is off is not that high, but I would recommend switching the power supply off when not using the computer for a long time.
