Thanks to the newly supported USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 standard, the Rocket Nano V2 performs admirably regarding both reads and writes. The sustained writes, even if not exceeding 1GB/s are higher with about 200MB/s versus the V1 and the chassis does get barely get warm during intensive use.

A Closer Look Contd.

With the black/dark grey color scheme, the Nano V2 looks really great and should be a great fit with other products (gadgets) you have at your disposal:

On the back, Sabrent has placed the product SN, a QR code, the product code name, the branding but we will also learn that it has been developed in USA, while the manufacturing took place in Taiwan:

The protective silicone case does come with cut-outs on the sides in order to help with ventilation:

In the front, a black Sabrent logo is present:

In the back, we will note the USB-C port:

After removing the silicone case, we will note the dark grey theme of the Nano V2, which also sports black accents in form of the Sabrent logo, while the Rocket pictogram is present as well:

A small cut-out is done in the 6061-aluminum alloy construction in order to permit the activity LED to shine through:

On the sides, we will note the same kind of finishing. The enclosure is sealed shut, so there is no way we could open it up to check the insides without destroying it:
