Our Silicon Power DDR5 4800 kit has arrived as two modules packaged individually; the blister packaging allows the potential customer to see how the product actually looks like, instead of some photos:
On the back side of the packaging, we did note that each module has been factory-tested in order to avoid manufacturing faults or broken ICs:
After unsealing the packaging, we will note some instructions inside regarding the installation:
The Silicon Power DDR5 4800 16GB modules do not come with any heatsink since they are thought as mainstream offerings running at the default voltage of 1.1:
On the frontal area of the PCB, we will get a small sticker with the product serial number, the internal code name, the recommended/tested operating frequency and CAS latency, but also the total module capacity:
The memory packages come with the D8BNJ code name, identical to the ones we have found with the Crucial 32GB (2x 16GB) DDR5-4800 memory kits we have tested previously:
A P8911Y0 IC from Renesas is used for the Power Management Integrated Circuit:
