Silicon Power QP77 10000mAh Power Bank Review

Others/Miscelleneous by stefan @ 2022-08-01

The QP77 Power Bank really looks great as a fashion element and offers the same capacity as the GP28 model we have reviewed a while back. The LED display has now been replaced by four individual LEDs on the side, but the new model also includes up to 3A charging at 5V. Another benefit with the QP77 is that it can charge in about 3.5 hours with Power Delivery, while the older model could only charge in about 6 hours.

A Closer Look Contd.

The frontal area of the QP77 looks nice thanks to the included fabric, a really fashionable product!

A subtle, black Silicon Power logo is spotted here:

On the back, we will note a similar design:

Here we have noted the ports which will be most frequently used:

The left side does show the 10000mAh battery capacity, but also a Micro-B USB port which only acts as input:

Here is a closer look at the side input port:

On the opposite side, we will get to see some more information regarding the charging specs, but also the Power on button and the status LEDs:

The technical data is written so it can be easily read only when looking closely at the frame:

The status LEDs are in white color and depending on the charging percentage, we will see more or less LEDs lit:

Our sample has arrived with more than 75% capacity, which means three LEDs on:

The two USB-A ports can be only used as output, while the central USB-C is bidirectional; the power bank can be charged with 5V at 2A or with 9V at 2A; when using the Power Delivery feature (only available with the USB-C port), we can also charge 5V at 3A:
