AQIRYS T.G.A. Wireless Gaming Mouse Review

Others/Mice & Keyboards by stefan @ 2022-07-20

The T.G.A. Wireless is quite a light mouse given the included 580mA battery, which can help with quite a bit of usage time from a single charge, while the chassis shape matches the wired version we have tested previously, which remains comfortable even when used for long periods of time. This version is using the high-end PixArt PAW3370 sensor, the one we have found with the Mountain Makalu 67 as well and the tracking was flawless in multiple games we have used for testing such as Escape Academy, Heroes of The Storm, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and Command and Conquer Remastered Collection. In terms of latency, we did not notice any difference between wired and wireless modes, which is great!

Packaging, A Closer Look Part I

We are again here with another peripheral from AQIRYS, this time the T.G.A. (The Great Annihilator) in its Wireless form. The name, as mentioned before comes from a micro quasar consisting of a black hole and a low mass companion star, believed to be around 16300 light years away from us. The mouse weights only 76g without the USB cable, can be used in both wired and wireless modes, while the chassis can be customized with quite a bit of elements.

The T.G.A. gaming mouse comes in a medium-sized cardboard enclosure (for a mouse), due to a large quantity of accessories. The top cover does highlight some of the products’ main features, but also the fact that the sensor can track up to 19000 DPI:

On one of the box sides, AQIRYS advertises the chassis customization feature:

The opposite side comes with some more features listed, in multiple languages:

The bottom area comes with the inside contents listing, details regarding the manufacturer's address, the importer’s address, the product code name but also the serial number:

On the back, we will note the main highlights explained, but also the list of technical specifications:

After removing the top packaging layer, we will note that the internal box does have a saying printed on its cover:

“The Great Annihilator is now in effect. / No GL is needed past this point. Just HF!”

After lifting the cover, we will note a small leaflet on top, introducing us to the AQIRYS website:

Underneath, we will note the mouse sitting in foam material in order to avoid scratches during transit, but also a box with the rest of the hardware bundle:

The T.G.A. Wireless comes with some extra documents as well:
