Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith DDR4 32GB 3200MHz Gaming Memory Kit Review

The mainstream XPOWER Zenith 3200MHz C16 32GB memory kit from Silicon Power offers enough performance and memory quantity for the majority of tasks, while the non-RGB design can go hand-in-hand with systems that do not have a plexiglass/glass lateral panel. The heatsink layout is the same as with the RGB version, with the wavy brushed aluminum styling but also the top plastic light component (but this time the LEDs are missing).

Packaging, A Closer Look

In this article we will concentrate our look upon a mainstream 2x16GB 3200MHz C16 memory kit from Silicon Power, which does not feature RGB lighting. The model is named XPOWER Zenith and is basically the same as the RGB counterpart minus the LEDs on the top of the module. The kit comes inside a sealed blister packaging, which basically becomes unusable after you first open it (in case you need to keep the modules in storage for some time):

On the back side of the packaging, we will note that Silicon Power mentions the existence of a XMP profile, in multiple languages; we will also note the product code name, serial number and email addresses to contact support:

The inside document also comes with the User Guide and Warranty Information:

As expected, the 32GB kit is composed of two separate DIMMs:

The heatspreader of the Zenith XPOWER modules have a nice, premium brushed aluminum design in gunmetal color. The middle area features a white XPOWER logo as well:

In the top right corner, we do have the product description “DDR4 Gaming Memory”:

The opposite side is basically identical, but a separate sticker is attached as well:

Here we will note the product code name, the serial number, its running specs but also its capacity:

A closer look on the side shows that the memory ICs are placed in the lower area of the DIMM, the upper zone being reserved for the RGB LEDs (when applicable):

When looked from the top, we will note the heatspreaders’ unique wavy design, but also a middle opaque plastic layer with the XPOWER logo in the middle:
