Patriot PUSH+ USB 3.2 Gen 1 64GB Flash Drive Review

Storage/Other by stefan @ 2021-02-02

The PUSH+ drive from Patriot Memory is ideal to be used with different small files or kits for different programs such as Windows, Office, different drivers and so on. We are saying this because the write speeds are quite slow at about 3.5MB/s but the writes are quite decent at about 53MB/s.

Packaging, A Closer Look

In this review we will concentrate upon an entry-level USB 3.2 Gen 1 USB Flash Drive from Patriot Memory, with available capacities from 16 GB and up to 256GB. Its name is PUSH+ and derives from its way of usage: we are dealing with a capless design, so the user must push on one side in order to reveal the USB connector on the other side.

The product is shipped inside a simple cardboard enclosure with a small plastic layer, in order for the user to be able to take a look at the drive chassis without unsealing the packaging:

On the back of the packaging, we will get some more info regarding the compatible platforms, links to some web resources but also learn that the PUSH+ packs a 2-year limited warranty:

The appearance of the drive is stylish, but has a chassis completely built out of plastic, in order to drive the costs down; it can be easily attached to a keychain and weighs only 8 grams! On one of the sides we will find the product logo along with the total storage capacity of the drive:

On the other side we will get to see the Patriot logo:

The USB connector is well protected inside the chassis against damages, while the drive is not in use:

Here is how the drive does look when it is ready for use:
