It was only a matter of time till Razer would bring the latest technologies to its signature DeathAdder mouse; we have tested the mouse in The Division 2, Dying Light and Beyond: Two Souls and we were quite impressed with the comfort this mouse can offer, even during longer gaming sessions. The high-performance sensor is quite overkill for most mainstream gamers, but a delight for competitive gamers that need to squeeze even the last bit of performance out of their gear.

The Performance tab does allow the user to define the number of DPI stages (steps) and configure them accordingly; we can also adjust the Polling rate and Windows Mouse properties:

 

 

 

From the Lighting area, we will be able to customize the LED brightness, choose when to switch the lighting off, but also work with LED lighting presets:

 

 

 

When talking about Chroma lighting, we have two choices:

 

-Quick Effects for working with easy to use presets

-Advanced Effects for creating more complex ones

 

Quick Effects offers some pre-defined modes:

 

 

 

Chroma Studio gets enabled in Advanced Effects Mode:

 

 

 

Chroma Studio also comes with a separate GUI of its own, where we can choose which LED sections we should configure, supports layering and more:

 

 

 

We have more presets to choose from in this mode:

 

 

 

We can choose to work with the scroll wheel area, with the back-logo area or both:

 

 

 

The Calibration area does help the Focus+ sensor adapt to the surface you are using it on; we have the option to adjust the tracking distance or enable Assymetric Cut-off (different landing distance when compared to the lift-off distance):

 

 

 

The calibration takes part in the “manual calibration section”:

 

 

 

The profiles can be linked to specific games or other applications:

 

 

 

 

Chroma Visualizer will allow the device to adapt to the audio output signal, so it will transform the mouse in a visual EQ:
