CORSAIR IRONCLAW RGB WIRELESS Gaming Mouse Review

Others/Mice & Keyboards by stefan @ 2019-05-10

The wireless feature addition to the IRONCLAW RGB series is nice to have, especially thanks to the SLIPSTREAM technology that allows very low latencies, so you will not see differences versus wired mode. The included 1000mAh rechargeable Li-Po battery allows usage up to 16 hours from a single charge on WiFi, with all RGB segments turned on; if we go in Power Saving mode, the LED lighting turns off, but we will benefit from much more usage time. The extra battery brings the weight up to 133 grams, which is still manageable and thanks to its large footprint people with larger hands will have no issues using with a comfortable palm grip.

A Closer Look Part II

IRONCLAW RGB WIRELESS was designed as the original for people with larger hands and for palm grips; the top area of the chassis does feature a rubber coating, while the contoured shape keeps the mouse comfortable even during longer gaming sessions:

In the back, we have the CORSAIR RGB-enabled logo:

The left side panel shows three extra buttons; near the left click button, the CORSAIR has included the DPI up/down buttons:

Over the forward/backward buttons that have been enlarged, we have the Option button:

The right side does feature an additional rubber layer, as with the original IRONCLAW RGB:

The frontal area of the mouse chassis does show another RGB-enabled segment, but also a portion of the aluminum core, painted dark grey:

The bottom area of the mouse is equipped with large, non-symmetric PTFE feet, but also the same PMW3391 PixArt sensor lens:
