Not long ago, Silicon Power has launched a new series of memory kits, XPOWER Turbine that are available as 8GB, 16GB modules and 16GB (2x8GB) or 32GB (2x16GB) dual-channel kits. These are XMP-programmed with speeds of 2666(CL16), 3200(CL16), 3600(CL19), 4133(CL19) and feature a 10-layer PCB for great stability.
The products are shipped in sealed blister packaging that allows the potential customer to check these out without unsealing:
On the back side we do have a product description in multiple languages, but also the serial number and product code name:
The inside layer of the leaflet does contain some words regarding Warranty Information, but also some installation instructions:
The modules come with dark blue brushed aluminum heatspreaders and their design allow good air circulation on the top area, when placed in a well-ventilated computer case; in the middle, we did spot a debossed SP logo, but also an XPOWER sticker:
The opposite side is identical, only that here we have an additional sticker:
The sticker does list the product serial number, the internal code name, but also the rated speed and CAS latency:
Here is also a look on the top area of the heatsink, that shows how the two components are joined together:
Without further ado, we have installed the modules on our test system and started running the usual benchmarks:
