Packaging, A Closer Look Part I

CORSAIR has just launched their new line of gaming headsets which are now named VOID PRO, offering various enhancements versus the older revisions across overall comfort, microphone quality and wireless performance. The VOID PRO design was engineered along with BMW’s DesignWorks studio in California, ensuring premium quality and long-term durability.

The new headset line is composed of VOID PRO Surround that utilizes the wired 3.5mm analog interface and no RGB lightning, the VOID PRO RGB USB version which utilizes the USB bus, the VOID PRO RGB Wireless model which we are going to check out today, but also the VOID PRO RGB Wireless SE that is pretty much identical to the non-SE regarding technical specs but comes with a special color scheme and also a base station for the wireless transmitter.

The product is shipped inside a CORSAIR Gaming-themed cardboard enclosure and the manufacturer does list some of the product highlights on the top layer; the VOID PRO RGB Wireless headset is available in two color schemes: carbon and white

On one of the box sides, CORSAIR is advertising the CUE unified software solution:

Another photo with the controls of the VOID PRO RGB Wireless can be spotted on the opposite side:

Moving on to the back, we will be able to see a more detailed photo of the product, on which CORSAIR explains the product components; a list of technical specifications in multiple languages can be also found further down:

Of course, we will also find the list of package contents on the bottom box area:

After removing the top packaging layer, we will end up with a yellow cardboard enclosure:

Let’s see what it hides inside:

The first thing we can see is the VOID PRO RGB Wireless itself, which is secured by a middle cardboard component, so it won’t move during transit:

As bundle, we will receive more stuff, each being individually packaged in plastic bags:

Regarding the documentation, we are receiving one Warranty Guide leaflet, the Quick Start Guide but also a Safety Leaflet:

The Quick Start Guide comes in multiple languages and gives us detailed information on the product usage:
