Storage/Other by stefan @ 2017-05-17

The recently launched JumpDrive S75 USB 3.0 Flash Drive from Lexar does spot a catchy, colorful look for an easier capacity identification, does have speedy enough reads/writes for mainstream users to carry data around but is also supplied with the EncryptStick Lite utility, for encryption of sensitive, personal data. The manufacturer has opted for a retractable connector design, while a lanyard can be easily attached to it via the supplied orifices.

Packaging, A Closer Look

We have recently received another USB 3.0 flash drive from Lexar, from their new S75 Jumpdrive series. The product is shipped inside a simple cardboard/plastic slim enclosure, while on the frontal layer we can observe the rated speed of the model, but also the fact that it comes with file encryption abilities:

On the back side of the packaging, we will get to see some more information about the thee-year limited warranty, but here Lexar has also included the product code name, along with its serial number and revision:

Jumpdrive S75 does come with a plastic chassis, while the USB connector does feature a retractable design, so no cover is actually needed. The shell does come in different colors, each of the colors representing a certain capacity (16GB in purple, 32GB in orange, 64GB in green, 128GB in black, and 256GB in white):

If we do switch the drive on the other side, we will get to see the printed Lexar logo, along with the product code name:

A lanyard-mounting hole is also present here:

By using the top easy-to-use thumb slide, we can get the drive ready to use:
