For the mainstream crowd and people which spend a lot of time outside, Creative has now available the water-resistant Muvo 2c speaker, which can function in a variety of modes: Bluetooth (with BT 4.2 support) for pairing with compatible devices and making calls, AUX-in for connecting any analog source to it via 3.5mm cable (not included), MP3 player (which operates when a microSDHC card is installed) but also USB mode via PC, in which case Creative also backs up the product with its own software suite.

Packaging, A Closer Look Part I

Not long ago we have taken a look at multiple portable speakers of different dimensions: the Fresh ‘n Rebel Rockbox Chunk, the Razer Leviathan Mini but also the Creative Sound Blaster Roar 2. It is now time to check out a palm-sized speaker with similar functionalities as the bigger versions, which does also feature a water-resistant outer shell. To be more exact, we are discussing about the new Creative Muvo 2C, which does integrate MP3 player functions, Bluetooth connectivity, an AUX-In jack and can be used up to 6 hours from a single charge. The product is shipped inside a similar transparent plastic enclosure as we could see along with the Fresh ‘n Rebel Rockbox Chunk, so we can take a look at it without unsealing the box:

The top area is provided with a handle for display purposes:

On one of the box sides, we will get to see that Creative has listed the available Muvo 2C interfaces:

The package contents list is available on the opposite area:

If we do take a bit a look on the bottom area, we will see some logos of the supported standards, the product power rating, but also various serial numbers:

Let’s remove the product from the enclosure and take a closer look!

The bottom white stand is in fact another compartment which does hold the rest of the product bundle:

Here we will find some contact support details, the Safety and Regulatory Information leaflet, one Quick Start Guide, but also an USB 2.0 cable:
