Fnatic Gear Clutch G1 Gaming Mouse Review

Others/Mice & Keyboards by stefan @ 2016-11-02

The latest mouse from Fnatic Gear does not disappoint at all, by incorporating the proven Pixart 3310 optical sensor, Omron switches with a MTBF of 10M actuations and thanks to the rubberized finish but also the curved design, we can use the product during longer gaming sessions, or even (sometimes tiring) office work. While the software application of the Clutch G1 does offer enough settings for tuning the mouse performance, the LED lighting system is not as advanced as we have seen on other similar products tested in the past.

Packaging, A Closer Look

It is time to check out another product from Fnatic Gear, and to be more exact one of their latest mice which is the Clutch G1. Based on the acclaimed features of the Flick G1, this time the product is not ambidextrous anymore and was mostly designed for claw or grips. The product box is fully sealed with a transparent plastic layer:

The packaging features Fnatic Gears’ signature, with a photo of the product in operation on top, along with the full product name; here we will also learn that we are dealing with an optical sensor:

The bottom box area does feature a small product description, the main product features but also the full technical specifications, which do include the manufacturer names of the switches and optical sensor:

After removing the top cover, we will get to see that on the sides we have some of Fnatic team statements:

Besides the mouse, we will also receive some documentation:

As we have seen with the Flick G1, we are dealing again with a full rubber coated mouse, which does make it pleasant to the touch and comfortable even longer gaming sessions:
