Sporting similar performance levels as the Jewel J20 model, the product is offered in a larger but also durable chassis, which permits larger storage space, while the retractable USB connector can prevent the frequent cap-loss problem.

Packaging, A Closer Look

The last USB Flash Drive we are going to review from Silicon Powers’ new series is the Blaze B21 model, which introduces much larger storage capacities than before, up to 256GB and comes with a retractable design. The packaging model has been preserved though, and besides the total capacity of the reviewed sample (ours was the 64GB model), we will also learn that SP Widget utility can be used for file encryption, backup purposes or for connecting to cloud services:

 

 

 

A small product description is available on the back in multiple languages, but here we will also get to see some details regarding the SP service centers and Internet resources:

 

 

 

Blaze B21 comes with an all-plastic chassis, while the retractable design means that a protective cover is not necessary this time:

 

 

 

A hole is provided in the back for attaching a lanyard, which is not provided with this model:

 

 

On the back side of the unit we did not find any extra interfaces or inscriptions:

 

 

In the front we do have the blue USB 3.1 connector:

 

 

By pressing in and forward the top button, we will be able to easily eject the connector in order to use the drive:
