MX780 employs a comfortable shape and thanks to the replaceable side grips, it can be transformed from a mouse designed for right-handed to a mouse for lefties:

The palm grip area does feature a semi-transparent G.SKILL logo which is lighted up during operation; also, this component height can be adjusted in order to fit different hand shapes:

Near the rubberized scroll wheel which is silent when used, we will get to see one of the programmable buttons:

The left area of the mouse presents itself with two more programmable buttons and the side grip for holding our thumb; also here we have a plastic component lighted up with LEDs on both front and top:

The right side comes with a similar design, only that the grip was designed to keep our third finger and pinkie comfortable:

In the front, the two plastic, metallic-painted components are joined together and keep the cable assembly secure:

On the bottom area we will be able to see the aluminum core along with the central Avago ADNS9800 laser sensor lens; in the corners the mouse does feature PTFE feet and in the back we can spot the height adjustment component:

As with many high-end mice, we will get to see a braided cable, which is in this case 1.8m in length:
