The newly released THL 2015A smartphone is a lower-specced version of their previous 2015 model which now features a MTK MT6735 SoC at 1.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a HD screen and a battery of 2700mAh. The camera sensor on the back is a Sony IMX135 Exmor RS 13MP and while it can shoot good quality photos during day time, the night shots are quite disappointing because of the excessive LED flash bleeding inside the frame.

While the specifications of this smartphone are quite a close match to the SISWOO C50 we have reviewed in the past, the battery life seems to be quite a bit lower and this model has obtained about 5379 points by using the AnTuTu Battery Test. However, it succeeds to surpass many other models we have tested in the past which had scores in the 3500-4000 points range, so we declare ourselves happy after all.

The GPS lock-on is made in just a few seconds and the tracking capabilities of this model are quite good:

If we also add to the list the dual-SIM capabilities, the possibility of storage expansion with microSDHC cards, the included protective case for added value and also the good quality of materials, we have a winner on our hands for the mainstream segment, since the product is available at Chinavasion for just about 115.52 Euros at the time of the review.
